A Buckeye has been picked in the first round for eight straight years, which is the second-longest first-round streak behind Alabama’s 15. Ohio State last went without a first-rounder, ironically, in 2015, after their national title season in 2014.
Multiple Buckeyes have been picked in the first round in eight of the last 10 drafts, and 24 times overall. This was the 12th time the Buckeyes have seen at least three players drafted in the first round. Ohio State’s record for first-round picks is five, in 2006 and 2016.
