Residents in one Gloucester County township are being told to remain in their homes as an investigation unfolds in the area Sunday afternoon.

Police activity is ongoing near Patterson Avenue and McDevitt Boulevard in Greenwich Township, according to the Gloucester County Emergency Management.

Officials have been asking resident to stay indoors, and locals to stay out of the area, since Saturday afternoon. An updated alert was posted just hours ago.This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
