Fleming, Jones, Mission West, Parks, Ridgegate and Townewest elementary schools each received $4,000.
The schools were drawn at random from the list of 70 Fort Bend ISD Title 1 schools, said Brenna Cosby, the foundation's executive director. “We are so grateful, so happy, and we look forward to a long partnership with Office Depot,” Cosby saidIn addition, campus leaders received supplies during the event, and one member of each school team received a new desk chair.
“We just want to say thank you,” said Deputy Superintendent Beth Martinez of the OfficeMax and Office Depot donation. “The smiles alone and the positive energy are the cherry on top of the donations, hard work and passion that it took for you all to do what you have done for Fort Bend ISD.”[email protected]
