Zoom Air and foam midsole a rubber outsole with flat-topped lugs . But the upper isn’t just some sweet decals—it’s all new.The water-repellent mesh material has added reinforcement in the toe and heel. The lacing is now offset, to better conform to your foot, and the laces themselves are a quick lace design instead of regular laces.
The collab shoe also gets a heel pull tab, and a Gyakusou rose graphic completes the offbeat look. According to sneakersnstuff.com’s description, this is meant to highlight Takahasi’s “balance/chaos ethos"—though Nike says the shoe’s design is also steeped in the brand’s one-time “rebellious maverick spirit.”The shoe drops September 26 in Sport Red/Thunder Blue and Mineral Yellow/Sail/Deep Pewter colorways. Look for it from Nike.com and other Nike retailers.
