Obama also said during the call that"seeing others as an enemy" had"become a stronger impulse in American life" and had weakened the response to the global crisis., Joe Biden, for president, saying he was the right person to"guide us through one of our darkest times." In the commencement address Saturday, Obama also touched on the racial disparities of the coronavirus pandemic that is“And let’s be honest — a disease like this just spotlights the underlying inequalities and extra burdens that black communities have historically had to deal with in this country,” Obama said.
