The 73-year-old has been formally identified as Alexander McCracken, known as Sandy, from the Coventry area.
A motorcyclist has sadly died in hospital after being involved in a crash with a motorhome in the Scottish Highlands.
Police raced to the scene and closed the road for nine hours while the injured biker was airlifted to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow. No one else was injured during the two-vehicle crash while a probe into the circumstances remains ongoing.
