As teachers head back to the picket lines, OUSD is now willing to negotiate on 'common good' proposals.The Oakland Unified School District gave an update on Monday with the president saying he wants the teachers strike to end now."Despite some statements to the contrary, I'd also like to reiterate and clarify our position related to common good proposals.
"We need our schools to be back open and our students need to receive the instruction that's so greatly needed in our district. With just 14 school days left in the school year, Monday marks day three of the Oakland teacher's strike.
