Trio caught on video ripping down Israeli hostage posters on NYU campus: ‘Cowards’

“Her frustration was that innocent children, teens, adults and elderly were also being killed, who are also Palestinians who are NOT Hamas,” a statement released by Deyhimi’s spokesman read. She was quickly identified by her NYU peers shortly after the video went viral, with hundreds of students and social media users calling for the three “cowards” to be punished by NYU.Deyhimi is described in the statement as a “young Indian and Middle-Eastern, American, Hindu, girl in university who is still learning and still loving.”
NYU told The Post early Tuesday that it was “seriously” looking into the matter, but did not respond to a request for an update since the pair was identified.It is not clear whether Deyhimi or her accomplices — a freshman who serves as a Muslim Youth Leadership Council member at Advocates for Youth and an unidentified male in a dark hood — were slapped with any disciplinary action by the university.
