New South Wales has seen a spike in new Covid-19 cases, with 804 infections recorded in the last 24 hours.
Health minister Brad Hazzard says cases are likely to continue to rise as unvaccinated people are granted further freedoms. Hazzard also urged people who are eligible to get their Covid vaccine booster shot now, saying 'a third shot makes all the difference'.
