Nouveau rappel pour les Ford Maverick et Escape, Lincoln Corsair
Autre semaine, autre rappel chez Ford. Cette fois, ce sont les modèles hybrides qui sont à l’honneur, soit la camionnette Maverick, le VUS Escape, ainsi que l’utilitaire Corsair chez Lincoln.
La raison cette fois ? Une défaillance du moteur pourrait entraîner la libération de vapeur d’huile ou de carburant et provoquer un incendie sous le capot. Ford explique que le problème a été isolé à une séquence de fabrication des modèles hybrides et hybrides rechargeables. Au cours de cette période, une brèche dans le bloc moteur ou le carter d’huile a eu lieu.Le constructeur affirme qu’il n’a pas connaissance d’accidents ou de blessures liés à cette situation. Les propriétaires seront informés au début du mois d’août.
