One will hope to retain its crown
Two pubs where the whole family, from eight to 80, is made to feel welcome are in the running for the honour of being named the best for families in the Great British Pub Awards. Ye Olde Bridge Inn, in Oxton, hoping to retain the crown it took in 2022 at the annual awards celebrating pubs up and down the country, for everything from food to entertainment and dogs to sport.
Ye Olde Bridge Inn is also a contender in a second category, for best pub garden. Hannah said: "We’re over the moon to be named as finalists in two categories of Great British Pub Awards, it’s a testament to the whole team and their hard work in continuously developing our country space and venue, we can’t wait for the awards ceremony.
