The council has released a statement
The council said the health and safety issue would keep the section of the park "closed until further notice". It added that council workers were working on resolving the problem.
A Rushcliffe Borough Council spokesperson added: "The toddler area of The Hook is currently taped off and closed due to equipment that we are replacing."We apologise that this is closed over a bank holiday weekend, but safety is our utmost priority."
