Forest are said to be holding out for £50 million for the forward, with the Reds turning down another bid from Brentford. Tottenham Hotspur are also trying to buy the Welshman before the deadline. In terms of incomings, Forest have been linked with a number of players. Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi is said to be 'close' to joining, while Brazilian defender Murillo appears to have said goodbye to his Corinthians teammates.
Forest are also said to have made a bid for Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos. The Greek international is reported to be on the radar of Manchester United. On the pitch, any new players could potentially make their debuts for the club when Forest take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
