The latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the Reds are said to be interested in the Brazilian talent in the final weeks of the transfer window.
Nottingham Forest have been handed a blow in their pursuit of Brazilian striker Matheus Nascimento, with the player reportedly ‘planning’ on staying with Botafogo for the foreseeable future.
The Reds are reported to be willing to pay a fee of up to £15 million for the forward, but may now have encountered a problem. According to Alan Nixon of the Sun, Nascimento is ‘planning’ on staying with current club Botafogo and is keen to win the title in Brazil before moving away from the country.
It is though said that the player could be willing to move in the January window, meaning that Forest could potentially make their move then. Steve Cooper has so far added three new players to his squad.
