A puppy in distress was rescued from a city storm drain before being reunited with her family. Now, they’re all available to be fostered, according to San Antonio Animal Care Services.
Public Works employees were called to help ACS officers after receiving word of a puppy that got stuck in a storm drain. The puppy’s mom was found not far from the area, pacing nervously.
As the puppy’s mother continued to worry above ground, it wasn’t long before she could breathe easier. An ACS officer re-emerged to the ground level with the scared little female puppy in-hand.
