According to records, Matt DePerno faces four counts, including undue possession and willful damaging of a voting machine while Rep. Daire Rendon has been charged with conspiracy to commit undue possession of a voting machine and false pretenses.

“The false electors’ actions undermined the public’s faith in the integrity of our elections and, we believe, also plainly violated the laws by which we administer our elections in Michigan,” Nessel said in a statement.
