said Monday Chief Executive Frank J. Del Rio has decided to retire and step down from this position as president and from the board of directors effective June 30. The company named Harry J. Sommer, who has been chief executive of Norwegian Cruise Line since 2020, as its new CEO effective July 1. Del Rio will remain in a consultant capacity as senior adviser to the board through 2025. Sommer will be replaced by David J. Herrera at NCL.
