An 18-year-old man will appear at Northampton Crown Court next month after being charged with drug and knife-related offences. Hammed Bin Farrukh, of Banbury Lane, Northampton was stopped stopped by officers from Operation Revive on Somerset Street shortly before 6.30pm on Friday, September 29.
He was searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act and was subsequently charged with two counts of possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place. He was also charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a Class A drugs – namely crack cocaine and heroin. On Monday, October 2, Farrukh appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court, where he was released on conditional bail ahead of his next appearance at Northampton Crown Court on Wednesday, November 22. Operation Revive is the Force’s hard-hitting enforcement campaign which focuses on bringing the offenders of serious violence associated with Class A drug dealing and gangs to justice.
