A 12-year-old is accused of fatally shooting a Sonic Drive-In employee multiple times in Keene, Texas.
The incident is believed to have stemmed from an adult’s disorderly behavior in the parking lot, according to police.A 32-year-old Sonic Drive-In employee died after a preteen shot him multiple times Saturday night in Keene, according to authorities.
Officers responded to the 300 block of South Old Betsy Road about 9:40 p.m. and found the victim, identified as Matthew Davis, lying in the parking lot with multiple gunshot wounds, according to Keene police. Keene is east of Cleburne in Johnson County. Police said investigators believe that 20-year-old Angel Gomez of Fort Worth had been acting in a disorderly manner in the parking lot when Davis “confronted” him and the “argument soon became physical.”
The minor, , who was with Gomez, then went to the vehicle, retrieved a gun and shot Davis, police said.Email Address
