North Texas agency’s Super Bowl spot will feature Andy Richter as avocado-loving Julius Caesar
Andy Richter will star in a 30-second Super Bowl spot developed by Irving-based Avocados from Mexico.A favorite Super Bowl ingredient — the humble avocado — will return to the small screen during Sunday’s Super Bowl LVI.
This is the brand’s seventh Super Bowl commercial, which was shot over three days in January in Mexico City. Austin-based agency GSD&M helped develop and produce the spot. After choosing the Colosseum as its setting, the team set out to find a funny, unexpected Caesar, Luque said. Richter, who is making his Super Bowl debut, proved perfect.
