Dean asked whether the U.S. wanted a president who was owned by Rudy Giuliani.
Speaking in an interview with Fox News, and asked whether he had spoken with the president recently, Giuliani said:"I do not discuss my conversations with my client. You can assume I talk to him early and often. And have a very, very good relationship with him, and all of these comments, which are totally insulting... I've seen things written like 'he's going to throw me under the bus.
"When they say that I say he isn't but have insurance," Giuliani said."Ridiculous. We are very good friends. He knows what I did was in order to defend him, not to dig up dirt on Biden," he added. Giuliani was asked about his relationship with the president as part of the ongoing impeachment inquiry, which was launched after a whistleblower raised concerns about a July phone call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in which Trump allegedly encouraged Zelenskiy to investigate political rival Joe Biden and his son Hunter.
