Nike has pulled a pair of sneakers embellished with the "Betsy Ross flag" from its apps and website.The sneakers, which have an image of a 13-star U.S. flag, originally retailed for $120, but were fetching as much as $2,500 on the auction platform.
The flag has become controversial because it was used at a time when slavery was legal and has been adopted by some extremist groups.
