Utterly bizarre
Your wedding day is supposed to be one of the most special day of anybody's life, but one professional make-up artist has shared a bizarre story that made this day memorable for all the wrong reasons. Going by the name of Jenny, she said on a recent episode of the 'Unfiltered Bride' podcast that she was helping the bride-to-be to pay a visit to the loo just before the ceremony was about to take place, when all of a sudden they came across the groom being breastfed by his own mother.
During the podcast, host Georgie Mitchell - who works as a wedding planner herself - revealed she heard the astonishing story when she had worked with Jenny previously. Building up the tension, Georgie told co-host Beth how "[The bride] walked into the toilet and what she saw is enough to end a wedding".
A fitter revealed that the groom was in fact being breastfed by his mum. Beth says: "Sorry, WHAT? Why would you marry a man [who still breastfeeds]?" To which Georgie replied: "I don't think she knew that was what was happening!" "She'd obviously been doing it continuously to get to that point," she added later on.
Remarkably, the bride apparently decided to go ahead with the wedding. Listeners of the podcast could not wait to share their views on such a bizarre story. One person wrote: "The strongest man couldn't lift my jaw right now." Another commented: "Took 'mummy's boy' to a whole new level." Georgie then stated: "Everybody is in the room waiting! But you definitely wouldn't kiss when they say will you kiss the groom!"
