NICOLA Sturgeon is set to give a major coronavirus update as new rules about the vaccine passport come into force.
Ms Sturgeon's 20-minute address to members of parliament at Holyrood comes as at least 48 cases of Omicron have been confirmed in Scotland since the emergence of the new Covid strain last month.Deputy First Minister John Swinney told the Good Morning Scotland programme on Monday:"We want people to increase the frequency of the use of lateral flow tests, away from the two times per week to much more frequently when they are socialising and interacting with others.
