Nicky Jam:“What is your most embarrassing moment on stage moment?” My most embarrassing moment on stage … that’s a good question because I take care of myself a lot. I would say my most embarrassing moment on stage was when I lost my voice one time. I could barely sing and people noticed I couldn’t sing because my voice was gone. I had to let the backup singer sing and I was just pretending I was singing. There was still half an hour of the show left. For me, that was really embarrassing.
“Have you ever met someone who left you starstruck?” Who was it? Juan Luis Guerra. The first time I saw him was at an award show. I’ve been a fan of Juan Luis Guerra since I was about 8 years old and obviously, when I saw him, I was in shock. He is really big, literally. He measures, like, 6’3″ or 6’2″, something around that. The mere fact of being someone’s fan for so many years and following him, when you see him for the first time. I think he’s the only person who has affected me that way.
“What’s the best concert you’ve ever had?” A concert I had in Madrid about two years ago on my tour. It looked like a Queen concert. Incredible to see so many people giving me so much love, and there’s a point where you feel like crying because you feel it’s like a love overload, you get me, of so many people. That was clearly one of the best concerts I’ve ever had. I can’t remember the exact date, but I know it was in Madrid.
