Nick Cannon dons an elf suit to celebrate daughter Powerful Queen's first birthday during Christmas-themed bash
Powerful Queen looked darling in a billowing gold dress with a matching gold headband with a bow.
When she wasn't being carried around the party by her doting parents, Nick and Brittany's little girl was seated in a high chair decked out in red tinsel. Suited up: For his daughter's big day, Cannon slipped into a bright green Elf jacket and a pair of Santa Claus' red velvet trousers with white fur lining on the ankles
'Dancing with brother [Golden], Santa was a blast,' captioned Bell, who gave props to Cannon for dressing as Santa's 'ez-e LA elf hehe.' Snowing: 'We made it snow in LA,' captioned Bell on another Instagram Story video that showed her sledding outdoors with son Golden atop mounds of imported snow hydrocephalus, which is when fluid builds up in the cavities of the brain and increases the size of the ventricle.Cannon broke down in tears while revealing his son's tragic passing during a taping of The Nick Cannon Show on December 7.
Zen was Nick's seventh child. He was the fourth of Nick's children born within the past year and a half, with twins Zillion and Zion born in June, and his daughter, Powerful, born last December. Tragic: On December 5, Cannon's son Zen - who he welcomed with ex Alyssa Scott in June - passed away from a brain tumor after previously suffering from hydrocephalus, which is when fluid builds up in the cavities of the brain and increases the size of the ventricle
'This weekend, I made a valid effort to spend the most quality time with Zen,' Cannon told his audience. Cannon said he returned to work so soon after the tragedy because working in show business is all he knows. Doctors did what they could, but the tumors kept growing. He and Scott discussed how they could give him the best life. They felt at the time he had months or even years to live.'We were having quality-of-life conversations,' he said. 'We could have had that existence where he would've had to live in the hospital, hooked up to machines, for the rest of the time. From someone who's had to deal with chemotherapy before [he had Lupus], I know that pain.
'[Alyssa] is strong,' he said. 'She is definitely one of the strongest individuals I've known. I couldn't imagine — I mean, as a father, it's painful, but for a mother who carried a beautiful child for nine months and nurtured and cared for him every single day through this process. 'So I asked for the miracle of strength to be able to be here today, and then I find that peace that surpasses all understanding.
Mourning: '[Alyssa] is strong,' he said. 'She is definitely one of the strongest individuals I've known. I couldn't imagine — I mean, as a father, it's painful, but for a mother who carried a beautiful child for nine months and nurtured and cared for him every single day through this process
