Unfortunately, the pair didn't perform together during the actual show itself. Tomlinson and Horan each performed their solo hits, though they did take time to hang out together backstage. Fans went wild on social media with photos of the former bandmates and their impromptu performance.
The "Slow Hands" singer shared snapshots of him and Tomlinson on his Instagram. "Mexico, thank you so much for having me," Horan wrote in the caption. "Playing my music to 65,000 people was an amazing feeling. Can't wait to come back to Mexico on tour." Horan recently announced the 2020 North American Nice To Meet Ya Tour with support from Lewis Capaldi and rising pop artist Fletcher. Tomlinson embark on his first solo headlining world tour in March of next year.One Direction Through the Years
