Temperatures to soar at start of week before cooling off from Wednesday.
There will be highs of around 29 degrees, according to the Met Office.
That would be two degrees shy of last year's record-breaking high of 31.3 degrees in Castlederg in Co Tyrone.Monday will see long spells where the sun is out, with any cloud clearing by mid-morning.Tuesday will be a little cooler, but temperatures could still hit around 26 degrees. It will be cloudier from Tuesday as the week wears on with the possibility of some showers coming with that cloud cover.It comes as England is under its first ever red weather warning for heat.
