Clare Keely from Co Armagh will perform in the Junior Eurovision Éire final on Sunday

Co Armagh schoolgirl Clare Keely is just days away from possibly achieving her dream of representing Ireland at Junior Eurovision 2023.

The talented teen made her way to the final last year and hopes that she is now ready to go the full way and follow in the footsteps of Co Down's Sophie Lennon who represented Ireland last year.Speaking to Belfast Live, Clare's proud father Tony Keely shared the excitement his daughter is feeling before the grand final this weekend.

"She has also been encouraging our friends, family, and her followers on social media to keep on voting for her throughout the week. She was also honoured to be asked to sing some songs at her old primary school, St. Johns in Gilford." If she wins, Clare will represent Ireland in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Nice, France in November 2023."She has achieved so much but remains modest, despite her success."She will be giving it her all, and enjoying every moment- as she always does when she performs."
