Strabane native Gareth Turnbull owns a refrigeration business in England
A Co Tyrone man is proving to be a vital cog in the wheel at the Glastonbury festival this weekend in keeping hundreds of thousands of people cool in the warm weather.Speaking to BBC News NI, Gareth said he will be keeping the food and drinks cold in the green rooms for the likes of Lizzo, Elton John and Lewis Capaldi.“It’s a great atmosphere here so far,” Gareth told the BBC.
“We’ve been here for the last two or three weeks now, we’re absolutely flat out and we’re building the refrigeration around the festival. “It’s a massive task for us. We meet the festival royalty and we’re right in there in terms of the management of the festival.”
