The misdemeanor will be amended to a petty misdemeanor.
Vikings rookie receiver Jordan Addison,in his sports car on Interstate 94 in St. Paul, has agreed to plead guilty to speeding. A charge of reckless driving will be dismissed, according to a court document filed Wednesday.
Addison was originally cited for two misdemeanors. As part of a sentencing agreement, the speeding charge will be amended to a petty misdemeanor. A Minnesota State Patrol trooper pulled Addison over in a 2021 Lamborghini Urus on July 20 about 3:15 a.m. on eastbound I-94 near Dale Street. The speed limit there is 55 mph.
“Driver stated his dog was having an emergency at his residence, and that was the reason for his speed,” the citation stated. Addison issued a public apology the day after he was pulled over.Related Articles
