Steve Smith Sr. has been announced as the Celebrity Guest Picker for ESPN’s College GameDay held in Salt Lake City as the Utah Utes take on the Oregon Ducks.
Smith was a wide receiver for sixteen seasons in the NFL, primarily with the Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens.
Saturday's event marks the fifth time in ESPN history a College GameDay has been hosted in Salt Lake City. The first time was in 2004 vs. BYU, the second in 2010 vs. TCU, the third in 2015 vs. California, and the fourth in 2016 vs. Washington.
