Tyreek Hill's departure from the AFC West will undoubtedly have an impact. But will it be enough to unseat a Chiefs team that still has Patrick Mahomes at quarterback? ryanohalloran weighs in as part of his NFL Journal:
Credit the Las Vegas Raiders for driving Tyreek Hill out of Kansas City.
That became the floor for Hill’s camp and when the Chiefs balked on an extension, he was flipped to Miami last Wednesday and promptly signed a deal worth a guaranteed $72.2 million and an average of $30 million. Seeing Hill leave the AFC West obviously helps the Broncos and it would be foolish to think otherwise.
Hill lined up out wide … and in the slot … and in the backfield. He ran in motion all over the field. He had to be accounted for on every single Patrick Mahomes drop-back and really, most every snap because of his jet sweep potential.
