Scott Parker joint-favourite to take Championship job after disastrous Club Brugge stint
The man who Parker replaced as Club Brugge manager back in December last year was Carl Hoefkens, who is now joint favourite along with the Englishman to take over at the King Power Stadium.
He led the side to the knockout stage of the Champions League for the first time in the Champions League era, but was sacked just after Christmas and has been without a job since. Priced next best at 7/2 is Steven Gerrard, a man who was sacked as the manager of fellow Midlands side Aston Villa last season.
Three more managers linked with the job at 10/1 are Rafa Benitez and Martin O'Neill, both of whom have also got Championship promotions on their CV, as well as Jon Dahl Tomasson, who took Blackburn within in a whisker of the Championship play-offs last season.
