Thompson shared that his Nutri Bullet blender appeared to have ‘spontaneously burst into flames’ causing a ‘large fire’ in his now ‘uninhabitable’ flat. The Northern Irish presenter shared the terrifying story on Twitter, where he added that the ‘collective response’ he’s received from various authorities hasn’t helped.
Thompson wrote: ‘Well. I cam home from a 14 hour day at work yesterday to find there had been a large fire in my flat.He added: ‘How’s your weekend going?’ Thompson went on to detail the challenges he’s now facing in the comments, writing: ‘The real challenge is that this country comes to a full scale halt on a weekend.
