A private laboratory in New York soon will be able to perform 5,000 tests a day of the novel coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said

The new testing capacity by the laboratory, BioReference, would be five times the state’s target at the beginning of the outbreak in New York, Mr. Cuomo said.
