A cheese and gin night is the final event, which is to take place on September 7, in a partnership with Masons and Fever-Tree. Opera North director Richard Mantle said:"We are thrilled to welcome MorMor for the first kitchen residency at Kino from September, extending the restaurant’s dining offer with their vibrant and contemporary Levantine-inspired dishes."We are also looking forward to welcoming visitors to the restaurant over the coming months to enjoy special tasting events with our fantastic local partners at George & Joseph, pairing delicious cheese and charcuterie with the best wine, beer or gin.
The décor and the restaurant’s name, which means 'cinema' in many languages, is a nod to the building's former use. A menu for the new restaurant is expected to be uploaded on Kino's social media pages in the coming weeks.
