'New artisan flavour journeys' have been promised
Witch Kings Rum, which started life during the pandemic in 2020, will open their first bar in Levenshulme in August. The venue will take over the former premises of vegetarian restaurant The Gherkin on Slade Lane.
Co-owners Maxi Tin-Bradbury and Brandon Bissell started Witch Kings three years ago. Their rum is made using pure single white run from Ninefold Distillery in Scotland, which is then infused with a host of unique fresh and premium ingredients. Speaking about the upcoming bar, the duo said: “After years of seeking a site where we can run our cocktail bar concept more permanently, we have finally secured a dream location.
“Our retail business so far has centred around fresh fruit rum liqueurs and syrups, while our events side has always tried to ensure an inclusive range of cocktails, mocktails, beers, ciders, live music & more.
