The new Post Office will be open for 50 hours a week.
Garthamlock Post Office previously closed in August 2021 after the operator resigned and now a replacement facility has opened in Craigend.
The new venue is located within Craigend Licensed Grover at 5 Mossvale Crescent, Glasgow, G33 5NZ and will be known as Craigend Post Office.Car parking is available at the rear, as well as roadside parking, while a regular bus service runs between the former branch and the new location. Craigend Post Office will be open from 9am to 5.30pm from Monday to Friday and from 9am to 4.30pm on Saturday.
Scott Hamilton, Post Office Network's provision lead said: “We are delighted to have restored a Post Office to this area as we know how important a Post Office is to a community.
