New Ohio State offensive line coach and associate head coach for offense Justin Frye will be paid $800,000 in 2022.

Per the terms of his contract, which was obtained Tuesday bythrough a public records request, Frye – who was also given the title of associate head coach for offense – will be paid an $800,000 base salary in 2022 and will be eligible for “compensation increases as approved by The Ohio State University Board of Trustees for contract years beginning February 1, 2023.

By comparison, previous offensive line coach Greg Studrawa made $700,000 in 2021, which was also what Frye was paid as UCLA’s offensive coordinator and offensive line coach in 2021.
