Last week, Brentwood Police Officer Chris Spitalere pulled over a DoorDash driver for allegedly speeding through the small, rural town of about 4,500.Soon after, the DoorDash driver’s car was towed and she got a ride back home, leaving the signature brown bag emblazoned with a golden arch unattended.
“There’s a knock on the door and I thought, oh, that’s DoorDash and there’s a police officer there,” Eldredge said. While Eldredge was taken aback by his unexpected delivery driver, he thanked the officers for ensuring he got his food.
