The one-off payment will be made to 6.7 million disabled households from June 20
The Department for Work and Pensions recently announced that some 6.7 million people claiming disability benefits in Scotland, England and Wales will receive a one-off cost of living payment of £150 between June 20 and July 4. To be eligible for the lump sum, claimants must have received a payment, or later found to be eligible for one, on April 1, 2023.
He went on to explain that disabled households are particularly impacted by spiralling costs, with many people dependent on energy-intensive equipment such as powered wheelchairs and feeding machines.
