the ability to appoint a board to run Disney's Reedy Creek Improvement District -- the small, autonomous region that encompasses the company's theme parks outside Orlando.
Another change that would be enacted would be the name of the district. The bill would rename it the "Central Florida Tourism Oversight District." DeSantis' office insisted on Monday that the changes to the district were an effort to ensure corporate accountability.
