Former Emmerdale star Charley Webb will star in her first major TV role since her departure from the Dales tonight, as she takes on the role of Elise in brand new BBC drama Better.
The former foap star officially confirmed her departure on Instagram in January 2022, telling her followers: "This is always my most asked question but I've never answered it before because I've never wanted to make a big deal of it. The new show 'The Long Shadow', which will air later this year will delve into one of the most notorious and shocking serial killer cases in the world, the hunt for Peter Sutcliffe, dubbed the Yorkshire Ripper, between October 1975 and January 1981.
Charley recently announced the closure of her "dream business", a Scandinavian-inspired handcrafted toy store, Nordi Babi, as she revealed they don't have the time to do it justice anymore.
