Nets hold players-only meeting after 'disaster' of a loss drops them to 1-5
The Nets held a players-only meeting Saturday night after their latest loss to the Indiana Pacers -- which head coach Steve Nash called a “disaster” -- dropped them to 1-5 on the season.
“It was honest,” Ben Simmons said. “We had a conversation that, obviously, I’m not going to talk about. But it was honest, and that’s what winning teams do -- hold each other accountable, be able to be open and talk to your teammates and respect that and be men.” If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
