A trail blazer in the world of nerdcore music, Neon Nash is making big waves for women in this niche genre. BUST chatted with Neon Nash about her
“I love cosplaying, it’s my favorite hobby for sure. But I knew that I had to start pursuing my dream of being a singer if I wanted to be truly happy in life. So I did some soul searching and decided to give it a shot,” Nash said. After the release of her first EP, Neon Nash began releasing a string of anime themed singles with titles mirroring their anime source material.
Since stepping into the music scene, Neon Nash has gone viral on Tiktok with a sped up version of her song “Sailor Moon” with over 100,000 videos made to her song. She has caught the attention of several leading brands in the nerdcore space having collaborated with and been featured on Viz Media’s TikTok as well as partnering with Fortnite. Being a cosplayer, Neon Nash also regularly attends and performs at anime conventions.
