Nancy Pelosi is reportedly ghosting Mark Zuckerberg over the doctored video of her that went viral last month
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is reportedly frustrated with how Facebook handled a doctored video of her that went viral last month.
Facebook’s stance on fake news has always been to demote its position in the News Feed and add warnings around the post with articles debunking it, instead of removing fake news altogether. But even enforcing its own rules proved difficult for the company. Days after executives said it would include fact-checks around the video, that users could still watch it on Facebook Watch without any warnings. A day later, Facebook quietly updated the post.
