Serial killer Richard Cottingham, 76, is serving life in a New Jersey prison.
and four others, the Nassau County District Attorney’s office said in a statement.
Cusick, 23, was beaten and strangled in a Nassau County mall parking lot during a trip she made to buy shoes at the Green Acres Mall. Her body was found duct-taped in the back seat of her car. Cottingham was sentenced to 25 years to life for Cusick’s murder and received immunity from prosecution for the four other killings he admitted to as part of his plea deal in Cusick’s death.
The slayings brought his murders to 11 victims, although he has at times boasted he’s killed between 85 to 100 people before he was captured.
