Gov. Phil Murphy and other officials launched the Monmouth County project Monday.

and other top New Jersey officials launched a project Monday they say is designed to prevent sewage from spewing into water in a section of the Jersey Shore.

The state is using $20 million in federal grant funding to help replace a damaged and aging 3,000-foot sewer pipe, while also relocating a damaged pump station, at the Two Rivers Water Reclamation Authority in Monmouth Beach.
