Those mocking Moe and Harrison for failing to stay in their lane should probably realize that this is exactly the lane they need to be in.
Sure, Harrison was unnecessarily pompous and vitriolic in his Sept. 8 letter to Ottawa, blindly chastising the federal government for risking access to one of this province’s most important export markets in the name of “domestic politics.”
Harrison was even worse on local and national talk shows in which he railed about the province only learning from the media that the federal government had suspended trade talks with India.Article content One gets why Ng wouldn’t exactly trust Harrison with delicate CSIS information that might further endanger people. As a local provincial minister with a penchant for playing politics, Harrison probably struck himself off the need-to-know list.
